My story
Hello! Thanks for visiting my page!
In July this year I shall swim a mile in Windsor for the charity Mencap. If you sponsor me, I shall swim with the grace of a camel taking to water, with the steering of a cow and the speed of an elderly daschund. But by gosh, I shall try my hardest.

The work Mencap does with people with learning disabilities is practical, supportive and effective. I am sure you also recognise the importance of valuing equality and opportunity in our world.

Mencap wants a world where people with a learning disability gain an equal right to choice opportunity and respect. The charity believes that people should have equal opportunities in education, work and in playing a full part in the community. They believe that support for the families and carers of people with a learning disability is vital to achieving their vision
