11.11.11 Poppy Run in aid of The Royal British Legion Thanks for taking the time to visit the 11.11.11 Poppy Run JustGiving page. Updated 11/11/11: Thank you to everyone who took part in the Poppy Run today. We hope it was a memorable experience and are very appreciative of your support - despite the rain! Thanks also to everyone who supported us along the route today - it really helped. Together we have far exceeded the original fundraising target  of £1,111.11p  - a fantastic effort :) Thank you   It will be the only time in our lifetimes that this run can be done on 11-11-11 and presents us with the opportunity to support what is a very worthwhile cause; The Royal British Legion continues to support our HM Forces young and old.   Starting at 11.11am on 11.11 the run will cover a distance of 11.11 miles and will take in five war memorials at which runners will pay their respects.   Organisational costs have been met but we are seeking donations to help reach the target of £1,111.11p to support this very worthwhile cause.   Whether you are taking part or supporting the run from afar - your support is greatly appreciated - whatever the amount!
