We are the UK wide charity working to support seriously ill children

Story

The Power2 Pedal team, made up of 20 SSE employees from all parts of the country, are getting on their bikes to take part in a charity challenge of a lifetime.

Over the course of nine days in September, the team will cover around 850 miles in an amazing route that will see them start in Inverness, travel through Scotland, Ireland and Wales to finish in Havant on the English south coast.

Please dig deep and donate what you can. All funds raised will help support Children's Hospices UK – http://www.childhospice.co.uk/ – If you’d like your donation to go to particular hospice, such as Naomi House, Ty Hafan or CHAS, then please include the hospice name in the comments box.

From late July, you can follow our progress on our website www.power2pedal.com, which will include latest challenge news, personal profiles, live blogs, training plans and tweets and pics from the road.

Thanks for your support!
