Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Ayrshire Hospice was established to enhance the quality of life of those who are suffering from advanced cancer or Motor Neurone Disease for whom cure is no longer possible, as well as support for families facing the loss of a loved one.

To aid in the tremendous fundraising efforts of the Hospice, Powerleague Kilmarnock will be staging a 5 a side Football Challenge to raise funds for the charity over the 23rd and 24th of January 2010.

The challenge will consist of 14 of our league players (two teams of five with two substitutes each) who will be attempting to break the World Record for the longest ever five a side marathon which currently stands at 27 hours.

We will be attempting to play non stop for 30 hours! Yes, that's THIRTY HOURS!

As you can imagine this is no easy feat as most of us will normally struggle to stay awake for that length of time.

ALL funds raised from this challenge will go to the Ayrshire Hospice so PLEASE dig deep and donate now.

Thank you for your help and support to the Hospice.

Yours sincerely

Craig Avery and all the players
