Many of you may have heard that Human Appeal International organised a 12 city tour with Maher Zain to raise money for the people of Syria. We attended the event in Manchester, where they raised an amazing £400,000, alhamdu lillah! We have pledged to raise £5000 of that amount, and are hoping you could help us hit the promised target, in sha Allah :)

The on-going violence in Syria has meant that over 100,000 people and over 4,000 children have lost their lives since the beginning of the conflict. Hospitals have become under-resourced and overstretched, bursting to capacity.

The UN refugee agency says more than two million Syrians were now registered as refugees and a further 4.25 million have been displaced within Syria. Camps have become a breeding ground for preventable diseases with inadequate sanitation in overcrowded shelters. An estimated 6 million people in Syria are in need of food assistance.

Since the eruption of violence in April 2011, Human Appeal have been at the forefront of international humanitarian assistance in and around Syria. However, the work done is not enough. As the conflict continues, Human Appeal are continuing their efforts to reach even more people, but they can not do this without the help of your donations. So please donate generously today.
