Story

In 2010 RICE celebrated 25 years of research into dementia, helping to advance the knowledge and treatment of the more serious memory problems affecting older people and improving their quality of life.

As the Director of RICE over these 25 years my commitment to the celebration was to challenge myself to once again complete the Bath Half Marathon. My target is to raise £1,000 towards our 2011 research projects - and I'm asking you to help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

RICE is a Bath-based national Charity. Whilst we provide services and support locally for people with Alzheimer's disease and other memory problems, we undertake vital research to learn more about the ageing process, find new and better treatments, and improve the quality of life for older people.
