UPDATE!

Back in September about 30 of us signed up for a module which is about to take us across the equator to South Africa... a rural village called Mokomotsie, located in the Southern Hemisphere... Mokomotsie has a sub-tropical climate and solar sun-path completely contrasting our own... thus affecting the building considerations, crucially informing passive ventilation, flood relief and cooling systems of the building.

Designing the school has been challenging, but rewarding and we are all so excited to see the project realised, but this can only be achieved if our fundraising targets are met to allow us to purchase essential materials and resources for the build. We are all paying for our own flights and expenses, and our time - which we are giving for free.

Last year I ran 15 miles (over half a marathon) in a tough mudder style race... and this year we have been holding cake sales, quiz nights, and football matches. But there is still a way to go to meet my fundraising target. Please consider giving £1 or £2 - if financially you can give more then that's great, but i really would appreciate anything to hep as when it all comes together, we will have the funds necessary to carry out the construction.
