Cancer is a monster of a disease and unfortunately claimed the life of my favourite contemporary artist Adam Adamowicz, and has been a pain in the butt of uni lecturer Paul Tovey for way too long! 

Hopefully this run will prompt me to try longer distances in future as well as harder events like Tough Mudder - that'll be even more reason to dig deep and help us to finally beat cancer once and for all!
