The Norwich, Cambridge offices of PwC are taking part in "Store Wars" over the next few weeks. "Store Wars" is a team volunteering and fund-raising initiative created by Barnardo’s whereby teams of around 10 individuals are invited to run a local Barnardo’s store for one working day, with the challenge of increasing sales (based on an average for that time of year). The team that achieves the highest percentage increase wins.
We are taking over the Norwich store (in Pound Lane) on 10 December 2009.
As one of the UK's leading children's charities, Barnardo's works directly with over 100,000 children, young people and their families every year. They run 394 vital projects across the UK, including counselling for children who have been abused, fostering and adoption services, vocational training and disability inclusion groups.

Our objective is obviously to raise as much money as we can for this extremely worthwhile charity so we will also be running a raffle and an auction to supplement what we raise in the store on the day.
