Yes its true I am trekking to mount everest

The cause is Islamic reliefs water programme in Africa, can you believe that 5000 children per DAY still die due to water related illness. Islamic relief have been developing water facilties in Nigeria since 2005, in this region more than 40% of the population dont have access to clean drinking water and only 5% of the region has sanitation. Islamic reliefs water and santitation improvment project has so far benefitted more than 72,000 people but a lot more is still needed. This will alow the people there self suffiency which is what they crave most of all. So I ask  you all to think about what you have, how lucky you are to have it, and how can you help those who are less fortunate than us, please please donate generously.

As those of you know me will be aware im not fittest of people so this will be very hard for me, we will be setting of for nepal on the 4th of december 2009 and the trek will last 17 days in total. At the extreme we will reach 5545m and will be trekking for approx 7-8hours per day in cold,rocky, nowy etc conditions. The conditions at night will be even worse, with only our tents and sleeping bags to protect us so please pray for me.

One last thought, I know what your thinking, but how much of the money will go to the charity after travel costs ?
