It's just heart breaking to see and hear about the plight of the Syrian people...especially the children. So when I heard about this new family centre being built in Reyhanli, Turkey (near the Syrian border) I wanted to help make it a reality...and hoping you can help.

The 'Springs of Hope' family centre is a new project of SKT Welfare that will house 75 families (widows and orphans), provide them with food, safety and education etc (see link at bottom of page for more info).

SKT Welfare, a charity I trust and respect, has been working on the ground in Syria and with the refugees in Turkey since the crisis began. The same charity with which I drove an ambulance (in a convoy of over 30) last year from the UK to the Turkish/Syrian border.

So, this Ramadhan I'll be collecting for the Centre:

-           Zakaat

-           Sadaqah

-           Hayraat

All donations are welcome (just specify if it’s zakaat/sadaqah/hayraat in your comments).

A 100% Donation Policy means there are no hidden admin charges, so every penny you donate will go towards the Centre.

Other Projects you can donate towards:

- Free bread distribution - £7 for pack of 10

(each pack contains 10 breads = 100 breads in total) 

- Food Parcels - £35 - can feed a family of 5 for up to 20 days 

- Hospital, and Water Well - just specify.
