My younger brother Graeme, aged just 26; passed away on 19th January 2011, after a short and very brave battle against Bone Cancer.

He was cared for by the wonderful staff at Teesside Hospice in Middlesbrough.

Teesside Hospice’s annual running costs are in excess of £2.2 million. They receive in the region of one third of these costs from the local NHS and must therefore raise approximately £4,400 each and every day of the year from their own resources.

I just wanted to do something to give them something back, they did such a wonderful job of taking care of my little brother.
