Last year Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service played host over the 9/11 period to 7 New York Fire Fighters.  These guys came over to the UK and took part in the Experian Robin Hood Marathon, and now it's our turn to show them - that us guys can complete a marathon too.

Liverpool is the host city for the 2008 World Fire Fighter Games, and hopefully we can build good links whilst over in New York to ensure that the games are a great success when they come to our city.

We are raising as much money as possible to support our charity Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, and hope you will contriubute to our fundraising target.
