Having worked in an adolescent psychiatric unit, I have experienced first hand the impact that mental illness can have on young peoples lives and those around them.  It is unfortunate, that you don't have to have worked in this setting to have experienced this too, and most people know someone who has needed help with mental illness at some point in their life.  With that in mind, I ask you to support me in raising money for Place2Be, a well established charity working with schools across the UK, to help children dealing with a variety of complex mental health issues. 

In return for your kind donation, I will be cycling 36km (yes, 36km!), followed by a 30km (yes, 30km!!) hike in the Lake District whilst being ridiculed by my Rigby Group colleagues.
