RCAN staff will be pushing the County’s boundaries; covering the whole of Nottinghamshire’s borders in just one day on ! We will be walking, running, cycling and horseriding all 188 miles of the boundary. Please support us in continuing our work, including
Developing Annesley old pit tips into Newstead and , preserving the rich habitat for many rare species and providing a new outdoor leisure space; Assisting isolated older people to get more out of life with our befriending scheme, gentle exercise programs and IT skills training courses; Helping people in rural areas back into work, where transport is a problem, as well as providing transport to essential services such as medical facilities, shopping, and leisure activities. Educating disaffected young people from disadvantaged areas who are struggling with mainstream school, through alternative education teaching vocational and life skills. To improve the profile of rural needs across the County
