Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page. We have chosen to use this opportunity to raise money for two fantastic charities, both are very close to my heart. We will be raising money for the Rhys Daniels Trust, a charity set up by a very good friend of mine, Carmen, in memory of her two children who were affected by Late Infantile Batten's Disease.

The Rhys Daniels Trust is a UK registered charity that provides free ‘Home from Home’ accommodation at hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child whilst their child receives treatment for a serious or life-threatening illness.

The 'Homes' are designed to provide the perfect environment for children and their families at such a stressful time. The charity has a very positive attitude to the care and well being of children and families, whose lives are severely affected by serious illness. All of RDT facilities are self-contained and supplied free of charge for as long as the hospital and the Trust agrees the family needs them (during the child's hospital treatment).

We have also chosen to raise money for Epilepsy Research UK in memory of two beautiful ladies, my cousin Christy and school friend Sophie.

We had hoped to do a 50/50 split between the two charities, unfortunately through JustGiving we can't do this and instead have had to set up a team page (https://www.justgiving.com/teams/bethpenneymichellemadden) which has each charity page attached.
