Story
The Scottish Spina Bifida Association is a charity that is very personal to a good friend of mine and when he asked if I would like to be part of the 100 hole golf challenge I didn't hesitate. The SSBA provide a support service to over 3,000 children, young people and adults in Scotland whose lives have been affected by spina bifida
It costs nearly £1million per annum to provide their services and they currently receive less than 1% in statutory funding. Your generosity will help them maintain their current level of service and support which includes health check clinics, information days, conferences, parent toddler groups, adult peer support, an inclusive fitness project and most recently launched their SEA Change project which provides children aged 12-18 with practical support and encouragement aimed at reducing some of the challenges they face in accessing social and leisure activities, becoming more independent and making friends.
