When I invited my team to join me on a night out team building I think they had in mind a bar in the City, however I have managed to convince them that joining me to climb Ben Nevis by moonlight (or head torch light) will be equally as fun, rewarding, demanding and confusing to get home.   No one has any faith that I will do this which makes it all the more challenging, its now time to truly lead from the front.

On a serious note, I am incredibly humbled that my fellow colleagues want to support me in my quest to raise funds and awareness for a charity that does so much for an important cause.

For anyone who is lucky enough to have not experienced someone with Dementia, there are over 800,000 cases in the UK currently, with more than 1 Million cases estimated by 2021.  Its a disease of the brain that robs dignity and personalities and puts huge strain on families and communities that support and care for sufferers. 

So... we need to raise 3,500 pounds to do this crazy night out, thats more than I ever spent on a night out...even at SThree!

16 weeks training, a great team, 4,409 ft hill and some serious blisters... anyone who knows us realises the only experience we have to do this massive challenge, is that we are all used to staying up all night.  Please give generously.
