RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

From 3rd June - 10th June, 6 volunteers will be rowing 140 miles from Lechlade to Richmond to mark the 125th anniversary of Jerome K Jerome's famous book "3 Men in a Boat". The 6 rowers, in two boats, are raising money for the RNLI Woodbridge and District Branch.  In one boat are: Tony Wilman, Pete Haffenden, Jason Banham and in the other are: Tony Allwood, Julian and Cathie Taylor.

We will be posting updates along the way on our Facebook page and raising money during the trip when we stop off at various points along the way. If you would like further information, please ask or check out our Facebook page - We are now also on Twitter!!
