Over the next 4 months I will also be competing at 3 half Ironman races; IM 70.3 UK on the very tough Wimbleball course; the Iconic Alpe d’Huez triathlon on the Tour de France Course and the Vitruvian Triathlon in and around Rutland Water.
Other events I am competing in this summer are 2 extremely challenging X-Tri races: the Mud and Mayhem Off-Road Triathlon, a 1500m swim, 28km MTB and 10km cross country run on 22 May (2hrs 21mins) and the GB X-Tri Champs on 24 Sep over similar distances.
Hopefully, work commitments permitting I will compete at 2 RAF Sprint Triathlons, Odiham and Cranwell, and maybe with a little twist, just to add to the challenge???
I have just added the VC10 Chiltern 60mile Hilly Cycle Sportive on 29th May - finished Joint 2nd in 3hrs 21mins
In July the RAF Benevolent Fund encourage athletes to raise money for them by racing at the British 10km in London http://www.rafbf.org/news/Blog/British+10K+Run.htm so I will be running this and again I might add a twist nearer the time to encourage more sponsorship?
