The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. In 2024 we assisted more than 64,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2026 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Over the next 4 months I will also be competing at 3 half Ironman races; IM 70.3 UK on the very tough Wimbleball course; the Iconic Alpe d&rsquo;Huez triathlon on the Tour de France Course and the Vitruvian Triathlon in and around Rutland Water.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Other events I am competing in this summer are 2 extremely challenging X-Tri races: the Mud and Mayhem Off-Road Triathlon, a 1500m swim, 28km MTB and 10km cross country run on 22 May (2hrs 21mins) and the GB X-Tri Champs on 24 Sep over similar distances.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Hopefully, work commitments permitting I will compete at 2 RAF Sprint Triathlons, Odiham and Cranwell, and maybe with a little twist, just to add to the challenge???</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have just added the VC10 &nbsp;Chiltern&nbsp;60mile Hilly&nbsp;Cycle Sportive on 29th May - finished Joint 2nd in 3hrs 21mins</p> <p class="MsoNormal">In July the RAF Benevolent Fund encourage athletes to raise money for them by racing at the British 10km in London <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span><a href="http://www.rafbf.org/news/Blog/British+10K+Run.htm">http://www.rafbf.org/news/Blog/British+10K+Run.htm</a> so I will be running this and again I might add a twist nearer the time to encourage more sponsorship?</p> <p class="MsoNormal">So please dig deep and donate now.</p> <p class="MsoNormal">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
