TrekFest Brecon 2013 · 8 June 2013

City Hospice is Cardiff's local hospice, providing vital end-of-life care for patients and support for their families when they need us most. Our mission is simple: to help people live life to the fullest, with dignity and comfort, while creating lasting memories with their loved ones.

Story

Team RPA was born back in November 2012 thanks to an off the cuff discussion in work after Tudor heard of TrekFest! Before any of us could think about it Tudor had signed us up to the challenge of our lives!

After spending the last couple of months talking about it and realising how much of a bad idea this was we have finally bitten the bullet and are all starting our training programmes to ensure that we are fit enough to tackle the challenge.

Brecon TrekFest 2013 is a 54 mile trek over the Brecon Beacons, unfortunately the timescale to complete it in is just 24 hours and the trek takes you over the highest points of Brecon!

Our chosen charity is the George Thomas Hospice based in South Wales and we hope to raise as much money as possible for them!

For those of you who know us, you will understand the huge effort it is going to take to get 6 larger louts (sorry Tudor "CiderLout") in to peak physical condition and complete the task. We will keep you updated over the coming months on the ups and downs of our training to show you the pain we are going through!

So please dig deep and donate now.
