The RSPCA offers companies and individuals the chance to take on incredible and memorable experiences in the form of our challenge events, however this time the challenge has been taken up by our own Inspectorate, with the key aims of the trek being to raise income and awareness for all RSPCA Inspectorate. The team is made up of our own Inspectors, Animal Collection Officers and Animal Welfare Officers, who are setting out to climb the world’s highest free standing mountain, Kilimanjaro, which stands 19,341 feet above sea level.
Setting out in February 2013 this team now have an uphill challenge ahead of them in the form of the intense training that they will have to do to prepare for the physical effort that climbing this mountain will take, and also the ambitious fundraising target that is asked of everyone taking part.
This is where you come in, as said before the main aims of the challenge are to raise money and to raise awarness of the amazing work that our Inspectorate do every day of the year. So whether you share this page with your freinds or donate you will be helping to support the unique work of our Inspectorate so they can continue to help animals in need.
