We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £12.7 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!

Story

After the success of the rowing marathon, members of Rugby Triathlon Club will be forming teams to complete a mammoth 100,000m of rowing on concept 2 machines.

At the same time, Hywel Davies, Harris School Teacher and Ironman Triathlete will be attempting to row the 100k distance as a solo effort and in doing so attempting the world record for the distance.

Hywel already holds the 100k Team record with Riptide Rowers set in January 2006. This was 10 lightweight (under 75KG) rowers taking turns over the 4 hours and 39 minutes.

Other athletes will be attempting other challenges through the duration in the name of raising money.

Keith Edwards, Peter Wright and Andy Childs (rowing 5km intervals)

Stuart Sykes, Paul Clarke, Chris Parsons 100k Row and 200k Cycle
