Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Laing O'Rourke team at the Royal Victoria Building (RVB) project are raising money for Alzheimer Scotland by completing the challenging, and most likely painful!, Cumbrian Commotion challange at Grizedale Forest in Cumbria on 24th March 2012. The Cumbrian Commotion is a three person team event where the three team members must stay together at all times to complete a 10k+ run and 25k+ cycle on rough terrain, 1k row, and an assualt course to finish for good measure! Further info on the event can be found at : http://www.trailplus.com/adventure-challenge-series.php

Alzheimer Scotland helps people with dementia, their carers and families. Their members include carers, relatives, people with dementia, professionals, groups and organisations. The RVB team were inspired to raise funds for this charity through the knowledge they have gained by working on the RVB care for the elderly facility.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
