Story
In November last year our friend Richard Collin’s son Dan tragically lost his fight against cancer. A number of Richard's friends from the local VCGH cycle club (Velo Club Godalming & Haslemere) are undertaking a cycling challenge to raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. The Trust provided exceptional clinical support for Dan, and also a great deal of support for Richard.
We have 24 riders with 4 people providing support on our trip from the Rother Valley in Haslemere to the Rother Valley in Sheffield and back over the weekend of 12/13th July.
The total trip is 720km (360km each way). Most riders will ride 50%, some 75% and a few might even try to ride the whole distance back from Sheffield.
The Rother Valley Challenge is really big challenge for the VCGH team undertaking it for a really good cause. Any and all support for the Team undertaking for the Teenage Cancer Trust would be really appreciated.
Many thanks
