"Race for Lou" is the continuous donation to the Melanoma Research Fund in memory of our amazing Lou Parker. Lou left us in July 2010 after courageously battling this horrible cancer for 8 months. 

Lou's strength and positivity towards her life continues to be an inspiration to us all, and she has influenced not just us, but thousands of school children in Redbridge. 

Lou always gave 100% to everything, doing triathlons, coaching, work and personal life. It is because of this that we want to raise as much money as we can for her chosen charity, the Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund, who work to find a cure for skin cancer and to raise awareness of early detection.
