As you are all aware my Nan has been diagnosed with vascular dementia, and has had this horrible illness for many years.

She now has been in a dementia care home for the last few months, as the illness has got really bad.

I'm very lucky at the moment she still remembers who i am, but does not know or recognise my children.

This is such a horrible illness to see my Nan and family go through.

I am walking 8 miles in aid of dementia to help awareness and hopefully  raise money to help find a cure for this awful illness.
