Story

Strathclyde Netball 5k a Day

For the entire month of November, myself and the rest of the Strathclyde Netball team will be clocking '5k a day' to support the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH) charity.

I will be attempting to run my 5k outdoors each day, come rain, shine, snowstorm or hangover. Anything you can spare to support the cause would be greatly appreciated - mental health is something we all have, and good mental wellbeing is so often taken for granted. For those of us who need it, SAMH are there to help. It costs £20 to run 1 support session where they spend time with someone, listening and talking to help them in their recovery from mental ill-health. With your help, I would like to contribute to as many of these as possible over the 30 days.
