Rachael Fairclough is raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association

Story

As some of you are aware, I am taking part in this Sunday's Liverpool Marathon. I have ran for charity in the past and I have decided to fund raise on this occasion to support a member of staff whose mother is directly affected by this Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks the upper and lower motor neurones.
Degeneration of the motor neurones leads to weakness and wasting of muscles, causing increasing loss of mobility in the limbs, and difficulties with speech, swallowing and breathing.
