I began working at ACJ Pakade Primary School within the township of Nomzamo in July 2012. Since then my time here has been one of vast experiences, which have altered my perceptions and values. I came here to support in the teaching of children but have been taught so much more. I am taking this opportunity to give something back.

The children of ACJ are seriously lacking access to adequate sporting facilities. GVI are taking on a 3 day hiking challenge to raise as much money as possible in order to provide the school with some much needed equipment.

Everyone knows sport brings people together, is beneficial healthwise and could open up opportunities these children would otherwise never be exposed to.
