I have volunteered to be part of the Cape Town Building Blitz 2017 with Mellon Educate. This will involve me traveling out to Cape Town for 7 days to help build schools and facilities for children less fortunate than our own. I am very fortunate to live in an area with plenty of schools and extra curriculum activities for my son to attend and take part in. This is something I like many others take for granted. I have always wanted to be part of something great and to give back to those less fortunate.

Every child should have access to education and have the opportunity to learn in a safe, clean and friendly environment.
