<p>Thank you for popping along to my page :)</p> <p>As many of you know last year I ran my first 10K for the Race for Life charity. This year I am taking to my trainers again, but this time in Aberdeen, and would like to raise money for a charity that is largely under-represented. Unseen UK are involved in raising awareness of sex trafficking, as well as helping victims return to a life where they can, at the very least, feel safe.&nbsp;</p> <p>Sex trafficking is an awful crime, that above all, is a breach of human rights and dignity. It is the second largest illegal trade in the world, treating people as commodities that are to be bought and sold - it is slavery at its most degrading level. With up to 800,000 women trafficked into the EU each year, it is a huge societal problem, and one that unfortunately is kept hidden behind the "hushed" curtain of conversation.&nbsp;</p> <p>If you can give something, however small, to this cause then I am sure that would be a fantastic help.
