Just to let you know, due to all the recent rain and for safety reasons, the boat race has been postponed today (15th July) and will now take place on Sunday 9th September instead.

I'll be taking part in the Challenge Matt Dragon Boat Race in September to raise money for the charity Beating Bowel Cancer.

Your generous support can help the charity in their work to raise awareness of this disease and support families affected by it. If you're curoius about how your money may be spent, you may be interested to know that just £5 could save a life by providing a patient with their 'Just Diagnosed' information pack, and £10 can help 100 worried members of the public access vital online information of the symptoms of the diseas. My target of £300 could run a specialist nurse helpline for a day, providing support and advice to newly diagnosed patients and their families.
