The Challenge: COMPLETE
I've made it to the roof of Africa and back with legs and lungs intact!! We summited at 05.50 on Wednesday 3rd August!!
The Cause:
In Uganda, poverty, disease and violence are rife – which leads to hundreds of children being abandoned every year. Child’s i Foundation is helping solve this endemic problem.
Their mother and baby centre gives vulnerable mothers the support they need to keep their children; their transitional home and family support centre provides quality short-term care for babies; while their placement programme ensures every child in their care grows up in a loving family in Uganda.
So....I will be climbing with TeamKilimanjaro (http://www.teamkilimanjaro.com/) to raise money for this wonderful cause!! All money raised will go directly to Child's i foundation!
