My story

Rachel Appolinari was an extraordinary young woman, her 19 years on this world were filled with happy memories and countless experiences that her family and friends will cherish and learn from. To say she shall be missed by many is to state the obvious.

 

This memorial fund is in aid of the Edinburgh Centre for Neuro - oncology at The Western General Hospital in Edinburgh. The care Rachel received at the Western was of the highest standard and the mutual respect and bond that Rachel and her family built with her carers has propelled us into action. Going forward we want to help others with similar and related diagnosis. There is much research to be done if we are to help ease and indeed cure many types of Brain tumours and we are convinced that through some hard work and generous donating we can improve and prevent other family’s heartache. Please help us to help others, in Rachel's name.
