Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

Martin is running for Rachel House in Tororo, Uganda which was established in memoriam of Rachel Davies aged 18 years.  Rachel was tragically killed in December 2008 and funds were raised by her grandparents to develop a project in her name, supported through Bury African Outreach.  The house is divided in two parts.  The first is now home to four girls who were orphaned by AIDS and the second is secure centre and meeting place for the Undugo Family Organisation that provides support to different tribes of widows and orphaned children.  To date over 100 people are benefitting from the house.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - Martin will raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. Thank you!
