Many of you will know but for those who dont:
I visited St. Anthony's Hospital in Tororo, Uganda in June 2010. Since then we have been working together to establish a dental surgery within the hospital to improve oral and systemic health for those people in the surrounding rural areas.
Equipment and resources available are underprivileged, therefore I am appealing to you for help to facilitate us a make this aspiration a reality, so please dig deep and help our cause.
We are hoping to raise enough funds to replace the dental chair and to provide equipment for basic dental procedures.
We are also running donate a toothbrush appeal and hope to visit schools and orphanages in the area to promote good oral hygiene.
There have been many kind donations of unloved dental and medical equipment that are really beneficial and are hoping for many more.
You may also know of someone that may be willing to join our team and travel with us to St. Anthony's and offer hands on help. You do not need dental or medical background as there are many other areas you could help. eg general hand and maintainance.
