My Uncle has been associated with this charity for many years, after a serious bicycle accident, and has enthusiastically supported them through different activities. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;</span>So far Uncle John has managed to involve his daughters and his mother, and has now smooth talked me into helping!</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Arial&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; color: black; font-size: 11.5pt;">16 of June is the dreaded date which, as it is also the day of Portishead&rsquo;s carnival, will probably mean that it will be cold and wet! The marina never warms up so I must say that I am not looking forward to jumping into a freezing cold, dirty harbour. But I have always wanted to be rescued by one of those huge, beautiful, cuddly Newfoundland dogs.
