Hi, we all 'love' running and started running together at work in our lunch breaks. Then, somewhere along the line we thought it would be a great idea to give ourselves a goal - you know something to work towards. So we decided to take part in the Reading Half Marathon.
After committing to it and the realisation of what we'd signed ourselves up to sunk we decided we should raise some money for charity. So we decided to run for CORE - a charity dealing with digestive and gut diseases including liver and bowel cancer.
With friends of Nikki's currently having, or awaiting treatment for cancer. A
nd Kerry's nanna had bowel cancer and her grandad pancreatic cancer so, we decided that CORE was the charity closest to all our hearts at the moment.
