Run to the Beat 2010 · 26 September 2010 ·

We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

We've decided to run a half marathon in aid of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. We would appreciate any donations you are able to make no matter how large or small! Every little helps!

Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is a UK charity dedicated to developing treatments and cures for all blood cancers in both adults and children. To allow their life saving research to continue 20 million pounds needs to be raised every year, so please show your support by sponsoring us!

We both started running together when we met at university however we could barely manage 15 minutes and as one of our friends put it; 'it was more of a trot than a run!'

However we carried on and whilst we may not be the fastest runners in world, we've persevered and have taken on the challenge of running 13 miles. Please help us reach our goal of £300 it will make our training so much more worth while!

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
