Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On March 10th 2011, I will be going to the Himalayas for one month where I will be working as a volunteer for the Helambu Project. The charity provides education and health care services to rural communities in Nepal. These villages would otherwise be without these basic privileges, so often take for granted in the Western world.
I will be volunteering in Gangkharka, a village 2200m above sea level in the foothills on the Himalayas. I will be undertaking many personal challenges during my stay including a 6 hour trek to get to the village, living without electricity and teaching children aged 6-13.
I will post more photos on my return so you can see the impact of your generosity.
