Yes it's true, I have finally lost the plot. In September, I will be spending 4 days cycling from London to Paris - a grand total of 320 miles. All raising money for Classic FM's Music Makers charity - providing music making & music therapy opportunities for disadvantaged people, young & old across the country. Participating in music activities has so many benefits - it can reduce asthma, reduce anxiety in dementia sufferers, provide social interaction for isolated people, and an opportunity to communicate without words. I was lucky that my parents enabled me to play & learn music - not everyone has that opportunity, and it can really change lives.
