<p><em>I am attempting to run 10km in the Chiang Mai marathon on Christmas day this year!</em></p> <p><em><br></em></p> <p>The Asian elephant is a highly endangered species, however many are forced to work long hours to generate revenue for their owners and to cover their own needs. The GVI Thai Elephants project is creating a new future for these elephants by supporting a community's efforts to return their elephants to live in the forest.
