<p>On the 14th February 2012 I will (insh'allah) have reached the tender age of 37 and will do so whilst climbing up 'Mount Kilimanjaro' - The highest mountain in Africa, standing at a staggering 5895 metres/19,341 feet above sea level!</p>
<p><strong>Why?</strong> Every birthday, I consider and acknowledge the sheer blessings of having grown up with love and protection from my parents. Now, being a father to my 3 young boys Taalib, Safwan & Usamah, I can appreciate what comfort and protection parents provide. </p>
<p>A devastating reality in our world today is that there are over <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>145 million</strong></span> orphan children worldwide and every <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">2 seconds an orphan dies from malnutrition</span></strong>. To help relieve some of the poverty, I've chosen to support <span style="color: #000000;">Islamic Help </span>in their commitment to sponsor as many orphan children as possible. <span style="color: #000000;"> Islamic Help </span>are currently sponsoring over 3000 orphans across the following countries: Sudan, Iraq, India, Tanzania, Jordan, Kashmir, Palestine, Pakistan & Bangladesh</p>
<p>Did you know that for just £30 a month we can provide a child with food, shelter, clothing, education and welfare? My personal target is to raise <strong>£5,000 </strong>for this 'Worldwide Orphan Sponsorship Scheme' <span style="color: #ff0000;">by 4th Feb 2012</span>. </p>
