Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Ralph (Dad) sadly passed away 30th Sepember 2009 at the age of 68. He was diagnosed with Mesothelioma due to exposure to asbestos in his early working life this came as a shock to the family as he had enjoyed good health until this time. After a long battle with this particulary cruel form of cancer Ralph was taken to the Countess Mountbatten House Hospice were he spent his last eight days of life. The Hospice played a vital part in making his last few days as comfortable and as dignified as possible. The hospice relies heavily on charitable donations to continue to operate and Ralph's family feel very grateful to the Hospice and the kindness and support that they offered Ralph and the family during this difficult time.
This page has been set up to allow friends and family to donate the money they may have spent on funeral flowers to this very important and worth while charity.
