WaterAid is an international non-profit with one goal: to change the world through water. Along with decent toilets and good hygiene, a reliable supply of clean water is essential for health, dignity and a life full of opportunity.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

I will be joining 99 other colleagues from HSBC around the world to trek 100 kms in the remote wilds of Greenland... the only permanent ice sheet outside Antarctica. The trek is a fundraising activity on behalf of WaterAid, an international non-governmental organisation, which aims to transform lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation in the world's poorest communities.

Collectively, we 100 have pledged to raise USD 500000 for this worthy cause and I request your support. Every dollar you contribute is significant, and your kindness would mean a lot to me as well as the 663 million people in the world who live without potable water to drink, 2.4 billion people who don't have access to adequate sanitation and 800 children who die everyday from preventable diseases caused by lack of safe water, sanitation and hygiene.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most effective way to donate... saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Look forward to your support.

Thank you in advance... Ramesh
