Ramshackle Krakow · 6 August 2010

We've been providing tailored and holistic care to those in need in the Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset area for over 40 years. At your home or ours, we provide care without prejudice, regardless of condition, religion, beliefs or age - and always with your best interests at heart.

Story

2000 miles, 4 days, 3 drivers and 1 clapped out Nissan Primera - welcome to the 2010 Ramshackle Rally to Krakow!

Starting in Calais, we'll be competing against 30 other teams to race across France, Austria and Slovakia, before finally crossing the finishing line in Krakow in Poland.  The only catch is it is a banger rally and each car must not cost more than £150.  Our particular chariot of choice is a 17 year old Nissan Primera that has definitely seen better days.  And just to spice things up a bit, there's no back-up team to support us if we break down - if we do, we're on our own!  Each team must theme their car and we'll be uploading pictures regularly to keep you all up-to-date with our attempts to slap a lot of paint on a very knackered car.

Why are we doing this you may ask?  Well, we're doing this in aid of St. Peter's Hospice.  They are the only adult hospice caring for local people with incurable illnesses in Bristol and their staff were invaluable in making Alex's mum as comfortable as possible before she passed away last year from cancer.  To thank them for everything they did, we want to raise as much money as we can to help them continue their great work. So please give anything you can and pop back regularly to see the latest updates.

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and for all of your support - we're going to need it!
