On 12th September 2009, I will be jumping from a plane at 3000 metres in aid of a small UK/Kenyan charity created by a friend of mine. They are trying to raise enough money to create a new orphan centre.  

Any money sponsored here goes towards Challenge Africa which is a registered charity whose mission it is to improve the quality of life for people in Wagusu and Abimbo villages in rural Kenya by working alongside local people to develop and implement sustainable projects. Our projects help many local people including orphans, vulnerable children, HIV positive individuals and families, vulnerable girls and women; but overall we try to involve the whole community, improving life for all.  Please visit their website at:

Unlike many larger charities, Challenge Africa charges absolutely NO administration fees so that more of your sponsorship money can go towards making a difference in Kenya, so please try to raise as much as you possibly can!

 

My goal (apart from jumping from the plane) is to raise a 1000£ in addition to the cost of the skydive that I already covered.
