On November 1st I will be attempting to cycle 60 miles in the Exmoor Beast Race (www.exmoorbeast.org). You may not think 60 miles is much, but it is when you take into account that it includes an overall 8,409 feet climb (Mount Everest is 8,800m).
I have chosen a small charity called Young Minds (recommended by my sister who works for the Institute of Psychiatry). Mental health issues affect a sizeable proportion of the population, cutting across all colours, religions and creeds and due to the stigma's attached to many mental health illnesses, the charities are more often than not sadly under funded. I hope for this reason you can help.
