My story
OK- I'm keeping this simple. And for those of you that know me well, that's no mean feat.
My main motivation to run this year's marathon is to raise money for a very close friend that is sadly fighting terminal cancer. The money raised will help ensure he recieves the best level of care he can, for as long as possible.
Huge thanks go to the Dogs Trust, who have allowed me to run as part of their team this year. I must raise a MINIMUM of £1500 for them, before I can donate to my friend, so please all dig deep for what are two very good causes.

Dogs Trust is the UK's largest dog welfare charity. Every year we care for around 16,000 dogs through 17 Rehoming Centres. We also run dog welfare projects in the UK and Overseas. We are working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.
